Unknown armed men gun down provincial official in Afghanistan

Kabul, Oct 9 (IANS) Obscure furnished men have gunned down an authority with the commonplace organization in Afghanistan’s northern Faryab territory.

Qari Abdul Rahman, the overseer of the financial commission of Faryab region, was en route to his home when he went under assault in Qaisar area on Saturday and lost his life on the spot, commonplace head for data and culture Mawlawi Shamsudin Mohammadi said Sunday.

Without giving more subtleties, Mawlawi Mohammadi said an examination has been started into the situation, Xinhua news office revealed.

This is the initial occasion when a common organization official has gone under assault in northern Faryab region and its area since the Taliban’s assuming control over power in August 2021.
