On Friday, September 23, 2022, prestigious Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa declared her retirement from radio broadcasting.
The big name revealed the information on her Instagram page while celebrating her achievement; she explained how she started off as a fledgling in the field and later formed into an accomplished media personality and moderator.
She posted the following in what appeared to be a touching post:
“This has taken me so long to share however here we go. Folks, it has been 12 years since my initial experience on radio, and I finally take a bow.
“It’s been the most exciting 12 years of my life. (Such countless recollections), I joined as a newbie and presently I can say I’m leaving as a seasoned broadcaster.
Media personality, Toke Makinwa exits radio after 12 years.
