Alex Murdaugh was condemned to two life sentences without the chance of parole, for the homicides of his better half, Maggie Murdaugh, and his child Paul Murdaugh.

During the condemning, Judge Clifton Newman said that Alex Murdaugh’s preliminary was “quite possibly of the most ridiculously disturbing case” for him as an appointed authority.

“It is likewise especially disturbing, Mr. Murdaugh, on the grounds that as an individual from the legitimate local area … we have seen each other at different events consistently,” Newman said. “Furthermore, it was particularly tragic so that me could see you go, in the media, as a lamenting dad who lost a spouse and child to being the individual prosecuted and sentenced for killing them.”

The prosecutor, Creighton Waters, appears to be growing increasingly frustrated by Alex Murdaugh’s responses to specific questions about his thefts from clients over the years. “How many times have you practiced that answer before your testimony today?” #AlexMurdaughTrial

He added, “You have participated in tricky direct here in the court, here on the testimony box, and as laid out by the declaration, over the course of the time driving from the hour of the arraignment and before the hour of the prosecution to this particular moment.”

Members of the jury arrived at the liable decision after under three hours of consultations in a six-week preliminary.

In an emotional condemning hearing, Newman talking straightforwardly to Murdaugh said: “You need to see Paul and Maggie at evening when you are endeavoring to nod off. I’m certain they come and visit you,” he said.

In his last explanation before the condemning, Murdaugh said: “I’m guiltless. I could never hurt my significant other Maggie. Also, I could never hurt my child Paw.”
